Behind the
Lens

Prolific actor, writer, director, and producer Jaime Gomez has been a working professional in the entertainment industry for over twenty-five years. A Los Angeles native, Gomez grew up under the California sunshine and has been featured in numerous notable blockbuster films.
Including Clear and Present Danger, Crimson Tide, Training Day, and La Carpa (produced by American Playhouse), which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

The 13-character solution, the first verifiable cipher text of its kind grounded in established cryptographic principles, has reportedly uncovered an unexpected yet complex link between the 1960’s Zodiac Killer and a previously identified suspect in the infamous 1947 murder of Elizabeth Short in Los Angeles, California.

The prolific actor, writer, director, producer and CEO of Sandbar Films, is among those who have evacuated areas of Los Angeles due to the wildfires sweeping across the county.
Jaime Gomez, heard there might be evacuations in his Altadena, California, neighborhood, situated just below Eaton Canyon in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, because of an approaching wildfire that broke out in the early evening of Jan. 7. So, he went outside to have a look. “I walked out and all I saw was orange,” he said. “The sky was orange, and the wind was blowing about a hundred miles an hour. Leaves from palm trees were bursting into flames and shooting over houses.”
EXCLUSIVE: Ed Arguello Sues ABKCO Over Forgery in ’96 Tears’ Publishing Rights Dispute
Los Angeles, California – December 14, 2024– In a dramatic turn of events, Ed Arguello, CEO of Ed Arguello Publishing and publisher of the 1966 hit “96 Tears”, is considering filed a lawsuit against ABKCO Music & Records over allegations of forgery and the unauthorized sale of his music publishing rights.
Arguello has spent nearly six decades seeking answers about a mysterious contract which purportedly transferred his company’s publishing rights to ABKCO for a mere $1. This document, which he says he never signed, surfaced only in 2023 when he received a cease-and-desist letter from ABKCO after beginning production on a documentary about his life.
