The life of Gustavo “Gus” Garcia, a famous Laredo attorney who fought for civil rights of Mexican Americans, is portrayed by producer and actor Jaime P. Gomez, who also serves as the film’s producer.
Gomez is the chief executive officer of Sandbar Films, an independent production company. He has been in notable films such as “Clear and Present Danger,” “Crimson Tide,” and “Training Day.”
